Breast changes
At week 6, you may notice changes in your breasts, such as tenderness, swelling
and darkening of your areolas. You may gain a few pounds as some of the fats
accumulate in your breasts.
Frequent urination
Frequent urination is also a common symptom, as your growing uterus pushes down
on your bladder. To have less trips to the washroom, you can lean forward when
you pee. This way, you can ensure that your bladder is completely emptied each
time.
Morning sickness
Unfortunately, morning sickness is the most common symptom of pregnancy. It’s
happening because the pregnancy hormone hCG increases. It can strike at any time
of the day. If vomiting prevents you from keeping food down, consult with your
doctor.
