At 36 weeks, you are about a month from a full-term pregnancy! It is also not uncommon for some pregnant mothers to give birth a little earlier.
Perhaps the most significant change in this week is your baby’s “lightening”, which basically means that your baby's head drops down deeper into your pelvis in preparation for birth.
The good news is that this gives more room for your lungs and stomach, making breathing and eating easier and more satisfying. On the other hand, as your baby’s head drops further, it may put more pressure on your bladder which causes some pelvic pain and frequent urination.
You may also find that your hemorrhoids may enlarge. To manage all these, make it a point to do light exercises, such as breathing, stretching and Kegel exercises.
