Hey, you are 32 weeks pregnant! Your uterus has now grown to a size of a pineapple.

Starting from now on until delivery, you’ll be gaining about a pound (0.45 kg) a week. Half of this gain is the baby’s, while the other half is distributed to other sources like the placenta, amniotic fluid, and maybe even your own weight.

Is the shortness of breath still bothering you? Most likely, but don’t worry, in a few weeks your baby will drop in preparation for delivery, which is called lightening. What a relief this will be!

As you anticipate your baby’s lightening, don’t forget to practice labor-friendly techniques for now, such as deep breathing and Kegel exercises. Proper breathing helps a lot during delivery, while Kegel exercises strengthens your pelvic muscles.
