Sagging breasts are a nagging problem during pregnancy and after giving birth. Although this is largely genetic, there are exercises you can do to keep your breasts firm for as long as possible.
As you are currently pregnant, it is best to ask your doctor if these exercises are safe:
Chest press exercises
Take advantage of your gym’s chest press equipment. This may be safe for a pregnant
woman, for as long as you start with the lightest weights. Never over-exert
yourself.
Push-ups
After giving birth, you may do push-ups everyday starting from 20 repetitions. As
you gain strength, you may increase it gradually. Push-ups are great exercises for
toning chest muscles.
Dumbbell pull-overs
As with the chest press machine, pregnant women may safely do this exercise with the
lightest dumbbell. Hold one in both hands, and position your arms just right above
your head. Lower your arms until they reach 90 degrees. Push back up and repeat as
tolerated.
Cardio exercises
Jog, run or perform other aerobic exercises that get your heart pumping. Losing
weight is effective to reduce the size of your breasts and their sagginess. Pregnant
women may try brisk walking or slow jogging on a treadmill as safer alternatives.
