Dizziness during pregnancy
Dizziness during pregnancy

Beginning this week you may get the new pregnancy symptom - dizziness. Progesterone increases the blood flow to your baby, somehow decreasing your own blood flow to the brain, which causes fainting spells. It is good for your baby but not so good for you.

Another cause of dizziness during pregnancy is low blood-sugar levels, which may occur if you're not eating regularly. So eat more frequently and do not get up too quickly.

Tip: If you feel dizzy or faint, you should sit down right away, or lie down on the left side.
