At week six, so much is happening! If you could only look closer at your little seed, the embryo is now looking more human, though the hands and feet are still webbed at this point!

Don’t worry, the webbed hands and feet will eventually disappear and grow into more human-like extremities. Like paddles, think of them as your baby’s helper in swimming around your fluid-filled womb.

Although webbed in appearance, the fingers and toes can be clearly made out, though you won’t be able to count them yet during an ultrasound scan.
