As you already know quite well, your baby’s brain never really stops growing while still inside your womb (actually, it will still grow from birth until childhood!) At week 30, you may want to catch up at how your baby’s brain is doing.
Before, the brain used to sport a smooth surface, but at week 30, the distinct grooves are now forming! These develop for a good reason - as brain tissue increases, it will need more surface area, hence the indentations.
As the brain develops at a fast and furious rate starting this week (think about how much brain power those grooves give!), your baby will now have more coordinated movements. The sensory organs will also develop quite well.
With a fast-growing brain, your baby will grow up to be undoubtedly smart!
