A fully formed face

At week 24 when your baby is growing in a rapid frenzy, you might be surprised to find out that if you can take a good look inside your womb, your little human now has a fully formed face!

By fully formed, expect some thin tuft of hair, eyelashes and eyebrows. Wondering if your baby is a redhead like you, or a blondie like daddy? Hold your excitement until delivery, as the color pigments haven’t deposited yet.

Apart from the face, your baby’s body parts are also forming well at this week. In fact, much of your baby’s weight comes from the growing bones, muscles and developing fat. As fat begins to form, your baby’s skin won’t look so transparent anymore.
