Ever wondered what it’s like to be in your baby’s place inside your own womb? Of course all of us have been there, but we don’t remember it.
If you can take a sneak peek inside, your baby is actually making a lot of movements at week 21. This is perfectly normal as the brain, nerves and bones are all developing in preparation for outside life.
The sense of sight is also rapidly developing but the eyes remain shut. If you do flash very bright light on your abdomen, the most your baby will do is look away or turn back. Your uterus, on the inside, is actually quite dark but very cozy for your baby.
Floating in amniotic fluid, your baby will be able to hear subtle noises such as your heart beating, your stomach gurgling and even your voice speaking.
