The second trimester is indeed a wonderful time for any expectant mother (the whole pregnancy is, actually!) What sets this period apart is that the idea of having a baby soon finally sinks in, especially during this week when movements are undeniable.
At 19 weeks, you will have started to feel your baby's movements. Most pregnant moms start to feel movement between 18 weeks and 20 weeks. If you've been pregnant before, you'll feel things earlier rather than later.
When you do feel your baby for the first time, jot it down and tell your doctor or midwife as this is an important prenatal assessment. As your pregnancy progresses, you will start to feel more regular movements!
