It sounds unbelievable, but your baby moves every 5 minutes or so. It may be hard to believe because you can’t feel it yet, especially if this is your first pregnancy. But when you do, it’s literally like butterflies in your tummy!
With regards to movement, your baby can now move all limbs and joints. The head, arms, hands, legs, feet and mouth are all in action. Your baby can now turn and wriggle, and it is indeed a joy to watch during an ultrasound scan.
Don't worry if you can't feel anything yet. It does not mean your baby is not moving. The placenta acts like a cushion, especially if it lies in the front of your uterus. Most pregnant women will not be able to feel baby's movements until a few more weeks.
