As a pregnant mother, there are so many things to look out for, and one of them is counting your baby’s kicks. To make it easier for you, simply follow these helpful tips on how to count kicks:
Be consistent with the time.
You can count kicks twice a day, perhaps after
mealtimes, for as long as they are done at consistent times. Count everyday!
Be in a sitting or side-lying position.
A steady and restful position, preferably
with the feet upwards when sitting, will help you be more attuned to your body and
make sharper observations with the movements.
10 movements in an hour.
A jab, kick or punch is considered one movement. The normal
movement in an hour is at least 10. Soon enough, you will notice a pattern with your
baby’s movements.
